Ranch Hands
Some of the faces you'll see the most working around Lazy Wineglass Ranch

Sarah Hoffmann
Sarah has been in the saddle since the age of 6, and horses are biggest passion, along with exploring new countries, horseback of course. Besides her time growing up in Florida, she has worked with horses abroad in South Africa, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Spain, and England, and is always looking for the next place to view between the ears. She first came to Jackson in 2016 and completely fell in love with Wyoming's rugged beauty. She spent a few years as a Special Education Teacher during the school year, and working on guest ranches during the Summer months. When she made the full time switch to Jackson, she started her own mobile bar company and working as an adaptive riding instructor. Sarah now stills runs her bar and teaches riding lessons here at Lazy Wineglass Ranch in the Summer, and travels for horsemanship clinics and hosting equine travel retreats in the Winter.

Dave Knaus
Dave has been in Teton Valley for the past 20 years, leaving behind his construction and electrical contracting jobs back in Michigan in exchange for wide open spaces. He grew up working on his grandparents dairy farm and wanted to live that lifestyle here in Wyoming. Between starting his his own electrical contracting business and eco-tourism company in Jackson, and helping out local ranches while starting construction on our home, Dave is pretty famous around here for wearing many hats. He was thrilled to find this pristine property in 2015, spending the next 5 years planning out his projects, and began construction in 2021. Lazy Wineglass Ranch is truly a labor of love. If you are out here riding, you will likely see him out "Dave'ing around" between running his other companies, fixing fence, tending to cattle, or better yet, building horse jumps and trail obstacles for our riders to enjoy!

Babe
Babe is the very first face you’ll see when you arrive to Lazy Wineglass Ranch, as she is the official greeter and on parking detail. Known to be the hardest worker on site, you’ll often find her between cycling between her many official posts. She takes her roles as assistant trainer, riding lesson supervisor, water trough inspector, trail ride leader, ground squirrel control, and pasture security detail very seriously. Sometimes she moves a little funny as she is missing a toe, but it sure doesn’t slow her down any. If she's being too helpful and in your way or herding your children, just tell her to go "load up" somewhere and she'll get out of your way. She looks forward to meeting you!
